About

my story

Becoming a family lawyer wasn’t something I fell into—it was a path shaped by both experience and intention. I’ve seen, in my own life and in the lives of my clients, how quickly everything can shift. In those moments, having someone calm and steady beside you makes all the difference.

I was raised by Italian immigrant parents who taught me the value of resilience, humility, and showing up for people when it matters. Those early lessons still guide how I practice law, support students, and approach the way I write and reflect.

After being called to the Bar in British Columbia and Manitoba, I chose to build my practice in Winnipeg, where I now focus solely on family law. I work with women navigating separation, divorce, and parenting decisions, often during emotionally complex chapters of their lives. My goal is to provide more than just legal advice. I aim to offer clarity, structure, and support when things feel overwhelming.

Beyond my legal work, I mentor students and early-career professionals. I remember what it felt like to be starting out in law, looking for guidance but not always knowing where to find it. Mentorship is my way of giving back to a profession that has shaped me deeply.

Writing is also part of how I connect—with clients, colleagues, and anyone going through a challenging time. Whether it’s legal writing or creative reflection, I believe in using words to bring insight, perspective, and sometimes just a bit of calm.
